Equipment
600 mm + 2× extender
The still photograph used a stabilized 1200 mm optical setup on a rigid tripod. Precise focus and vibration control were essential at this angle of view.
Conditions
Atmosphere sets the limit
Haze, humidity, heat shimmer and wind can erase detail long before the lens runs out of magnification. Clear conditions were as important as the camera.

What the case proves
A realistic view of
extreme distance
A 25 km photograph is not a promise that every subject can be recorded at the same distance. Large, high-contrast architecture in clear air is very different from a small low-contrast detail above a sun-heated surface.
This case is useful because it provides a verified reference point. It shows the visual reach that is possible when subject size, geometry, weather and equipment align. For commissioned work, feasibility is assessed from the actual subject and required level of detail.
