Ultra-telephoto photography uses very long focal lengths to record distant subjects in detail from a suitable ground position. SuperTelezoom works mainly in the 1500–3000 mm equivalent range, with extended configurations up to 6000 mm reserved for exceptional long-distance cases.

The useful distance depends on subject size, weather, light, atmospheric turbulence and the detail required. We have demonstrated architectural photography across 25 km; many construction, event and wildlife assignments take place at much shorter distances.

Most assignments use 1500–3000 mm equivalent telephoto configurations, full-frame cameras up to 45 MP, 8K video systems and rigid tripod support. Configurations up to 6000 mm equivalent are reserved for exceptional cases where conditions and the subject justify them.

Depending on the brief, delivery can include high-resolution processed photographs, original files, 8K video, 4K slow motion up to 120 fps and selected edits in agreed aspect ratios. The exact file types and processing level are confirmed before the assignment.

No. SuperTelezoom provides detailed photographs and video only. Engineering interpretation, condition assessment, measurements, certification and formal conclusions remain with the client’s qualified specialists.

Yes. When the position remains accessible, we can repeat a framing plan and delivery format for construction progress, changing conditions, research records or long-term visual comparison.

Yes. SuperTelezoom is based in St Petersburg and is available for commissioned assignments worldwide. Feasibility and quotations include travel logistics, local permissions, access and the time needed to identify a suitable camera position.

It is a different viewpoint rather than a universal replacement. Ground-based ultra-telephoto capture is useful when a distant compressed perspective is required or flight operations are unsuitable. A drone remains better when an elevated or overhead viewpoint is essential and flight is permitted.

Each assignment is quoted individually. The main factors are location, travel, distance, required detail, capture duration, permissions, weather dependence, file format and post-production. Send a map pin and reference view for an initial assessment.
